A strapless bra can be worn under anything, but would usually be worn under a tube top, halter top and off the shoulder shirts. They’re great for formal wear too. A strapless bra is a must for evening gowns and formal dresses that are strapless or have spaghetti straps.
Even larger breasted women can find a strapless bra that is well-fitting and comfortable. Strapless bras are specially designed to adhere to your breasts, almost as if an adherent were used, so your breasts don't slip out when you move.
Many strapless bras are simply regular bras with removable straps – so they’re more versatile and multi-functional. The strapless bras typically fasten in the back and generally have a band that tapers from wider on the sides to narrower in the back. There are typically two or three rows of fasteners, though strapless bras for smaller breasted women may only have one hook.
Underwire, seamless cups, lacy and multiple colors are all options available for strapless bras. They are available in the same materials and fabrics as other bras and some are even long-line to smooth the upper torso, and some are corset-style, to add the benefit of the appearance of a smaller waist.
The newest generation of strapless bras is the NuBra Divine Body-Bra, which really isn’t a bra at all! The NuBra is really two molded cups with a center clip for cleavage accentuation. It is strapless, backless, seamless, and self-adhesive. The manufacturer claims they can be worn over 100 times. They are silicon filled and adhere to clean skin using reusable inner adhesive.
The outfit dictates what bra to wear. Nothing is more unattractive than a woman in a tank top or strapless shirt with bra straps showing. Strapless bras afford tremendous flexibility in wearing the latest styles and some great options for formal wear and evening gowns.
