The first thing you should do when looking for a bra that fits well is to have a bra-fitting. It may seem a little scary to have a bra fitting, but it is perfectly harmless. Make sure when you go in for a bra fitting (offered at most places that sell bras) that the measurement should be taken with you wearing a bra (and not a padded bra). Know, though, that whatever size is suggested at your bra fitting is not necessarily the perfect bra size for you. It is, however, an excellent place to start. From that point, you can decide if you need a bigger band size (like if your back is squeezing out over the band) or cup size (if your boobs are squeezing out of the cups), etc. It can be a long process, but finding the right bra is well worth it.
